Life is far more than what is seen with temporal sight.

This is a part of what I believe, what I have experienced, what I have learned,Life in all her wonderful diversity holds some awesome surprises, and breath-taking beauty for all of us to see,if we but regain our innate capacity to stand in soul-stirring awe at the beauty we experience in the natural world around us.

In the midst of chaos,of destruction,Life returns.

Leafy plant growing from a crack in the tarmac. This is an example of life returning to an environment changed by us,as is the one below. No matter what we do,I am quite sure that life will always return if given time to do so.
In the midst of chaos, of destruction, a young child stands alone,a silent witness to the demise of his family and friends.Homes, hospitals, and businesses crumble in a conflagration blue-white elemental fire welded by those whose hearts are filled with fear, hatred, and greed. In the midst of chaos and destruction, innocent life meets her demise in the ultraviolet, white-hot fire of modern battle. A young child grows into adulthood with the understanding that war brings the horror of destruction and death. The child grows into adulthood running, hiding from the hateful destruction all around, and feeling dispair, the child wonders if there ever will be peace. In the midst of chaos, of destruction, Life returns. After the war has ended, and the fighting has ceased, life makes her sweet presence known once more in a seemingly barren land. A seed blown by hot, dusty, and arid winds lodges in a bombed-out bunker, then grows into an olive tree. Small, delicate wild flowers make their homes in discarded munitions shells, and helmets.A flower is found growing out from a fallen soldier's empty boot. Honey bees find shelter inside of broken radio equipment. Sparrows make their nests in empty rocket launchers, and tanks. As a young adult stands witness, survivors of the war return to their land to rebuild the life that they had once known, The young adult begins to know hope, stability, and peace as old friends return, and new ones are made. You can bomb a land completely devoid of life, however, if you leave that land in peace long enough, Life, in all her wonderful diversity will return.
