Life is far more than what is seen with temporal sight.

This is a part of what I believe, what I have experienced, what I have learned,Life in all her wonderful diversity holds some awesome surprises, and breath-taking beauty for all of us to see,if we but regain our innate capacity to stand in soul-stirring awe at the beauty we experience in the natural world around us.

We all need a bit of time to relax.

Although our modern age of industrialization has given us many benefits such as rapid transport from one locality to the other, and has made long distance commuting possible in order to work,we have for the most part, developed a hurried lifestyle where we seem never to have time to just slow down, and take it easy for a while. Many of us arise out of bed early in the morning, and immediatly set about rushing through the house in a groggy state' perhaps even slightly irritated at the fact that it's 'time' to go to work,or take the children to school. Many of us live a harried, hurried lifestyle that causes high amounts of stress that after years can cause major health problems.Personally,I do not believe that we were designed to live in a constant state of rapid motion such as this, nor were we ment to seperate ourselves from the earth's natural environment to the extent that many of us have done. We have a lifestyle where we do not recieve much natural sun light,or inhale natural air. Forthe most part, we spend large blocks of time inside square/rectangular blocks of concrete, iron, and steel, and are bathed in artifical light and are. This can not be good for us given that we as any other species of life on this earth need the natural elements of this earth to maintain health. I am quite sure that you have heard of 'Sick Building Syndrome'. This is, in my opinion, one example of the price that we are paying for not spending more time in the 'Great outdoors'.The constant hurry may cause sufficient stress to trigger a coranary,or at the least, high blood pressure. If we could learn to use the free/off time that we have each day to kick-back and relax, and do something that we want to do instead of allowing another to take up our free time doing something that we would rather not do, we would be healthier for it. An example of this would be that you have just finished of your work week, and you really want to go fishing, however, your friend wants you to go to an auto race, and you are not interested in going. Your friend talks you into going, and you are miserable but say nothing. You have just spent your off-time in a miserable state, and resent the fact that you have done so.This if done enough times is not good for your health. In our hurried rush-a-day life style,it is vital to spend some time each week away from the hustle and bustle to maintain health, and to stave off job 'burn-out'.As for me, I prefer to go out into the wild places to take a breather and am a firm believer that we,as any other species of life on this planet, need to re-connect to the natural world from which we came, and of which we are made. The following posts are to deal with the beauty in earth's biodiversity and weather patterns and such and such that cause me to pause and stand in amazement at the beauty that I experience.
